Then we ran into a herd of Elk.  I love their white behinds – made me laugh

We are now back in Texas at Palo Duro Canyon State Park.  These rock cabins are available for renting. my foot – yes I was actually their on vacation. Looking down from a hike up one of the mountains. After hiking which scared me to death I saw this sign and wanted to laugh.These are the picnic tables by each campsite and also the mountain in the background we had hiked.

Mother’s Day weekend & vacation begin

Mother’s  Day weekend – also the start of our vacation – First stop – The Stacer’s  where Jen met up with a surprise. Then we were off – Maggie lazy on the dash watching the world go by.  Got to love West Texas and the wind mills -  First stop – Post. Texas  Second stop Raton, New Mexico – Summerlan RV .  Notice downtown Raton – wow we never knew that was there.  Maggie looking out the window watching for Colorado!  First mountain pass a snow storm met us with 6”s of white stuff.    On ward – Ron could not resist pulling over to take a picture of spend spend spend!    Lake City bound -
