Our Friday night outing

We wound up the week by doing two of our favorite things – Papa Nachos for dinner then a country jeep ride.   Ron was on a hunt for a river park we had heard about and we were amazingly rewarded take a look.  Anytime Maggie can follow her dad and take a swim in the river she is all in.   The Cypress trees were amazing along with the sun hitting the water.  Ron is crazy excited about this new fishing place.  He spotted bass !!

Then we were on to Main Street in Boerne.  It was jeep club night  - live band – movie in the town square – the bird show  – a lot of fun going on – of course we had to stop and stroll all the jeeps…we may have to look in to this jeep club.

We have had squatters without being invited take over – my airplane plant for the last several weeks or months…… momma birds nesting.  Twice now we have had egg laying's.  I love watching and listening to the babies but I can’t water my plant.  If you look close this is what I found after watering and not knowing a second group of babies had hatched the squawking was crazy loud and the babies came to the top of the plant

Update in garden/yard/fawn

I went to leave for a walk this afternoon and right outside our gate by the garage window was this sweet little baby.  It alarmed me a bit when he/she moved it’s head.  I love that the momma deer trust our yard so much to leave their sweet babies while they graze.photo 1 (2)  photo 3 (2)001Maggie got a free ride in my  wagon as I was yard working today.
