San Antonio Rodeo

Spent the afternoon with Jen and Barrett at the San Antonio Rodeo.  We walked around looking for animals and found a few.

Hit the food court first -   Matt these signs and BBQ were for you .  Jennifer is eating a very hot deep fried milky way.  Then off to the carnival area and the tiny pig races.  I love the little lamb sleeping.

 

A perfect afternoon

Ron and I headed out this afternoon on errands and then to what is quickly becoming one

of our favorite wineries called Singing Waters Vineyard in Comfort, Texas.

It was a beautiful afternoon to sit out on their deck enjoying  the sunshine, appetizers , chocolates and a glass of wine.  This

winery is out in the country  -   so  relaxing. 

After a wonderful ride we decided to grill shrimp kabobs.  Love !!!!

A mix of sweet onion, red pepper, pineapple, shrimp and mushrooms grilled and glazed.  A side loaf of bread and salad &  you have it made. 

perfect ending to an amazing afternoon –

A week in Georgetown

What fun it is to wake up and have breakfast with your family, play, lunch, and play some more..... Here are a few pics of my Georgetown week at the Stacer’s. Ron drove up the weekend prior and after to celebrate the three birthdays with us.  Lots of gift opening, hiking, cake and my favorite was going to the  Bible Study Fellowship class that Ashley, Aaron and Adam go to in Roundrock.

A sweet "rag quilt" for my sweet niece. Poor girl has been awaiting her quilt far to long.    Nothing like flannel to cuddle up with. Post office here I come - it will be there soon.
