Packing up the Fischer’s

A week and a half ago Ron and I made the run one last time to Lewisville (Dallas)  to help pack/load and help drive Barrett and Jennifer

to San Antonio.   We are so blessed and excited to help and have them back in the area again.  I only got a few

picks considering we were all busy beavers.   Jen and Barrett had to work one last day so Ron and I stayed behind and picked up the

pieces.  I happen to snap a couple of pictures of him taking a water break.  It was crazy warm and they had LOTS of boxes…..

It went well – the Lord blessed them all around

then in between  trips I have been burning the candle at both ends

and working on two more quilts.  Only have the binding now to do on

both -

A few days at the Stacer’s

I had the opportunity to make a quick run up to Georgetown to hang out with Alan, Ashley, Aaron

and Adam for a couple of days.  I was playing with the camera and could not resist these

precious faces.

This months homework

This is the second month of our $5.00 quilt club.  Seeing as it is and going to be a very busy

month I just finished both blocks tonight after picking them up this afternoon.  One is the

Amish and the other is called Teal/Brown/Ivory.    Colors chosen by the shop -

The Fischer’s back in town

Last weekend Jennifer and Barrett came into town to visit .  I played with my camera trying to get some good pics

of their dogs.  Parker (Scottie) will sit still                Paisley (westie) is harder to catch

Ink’s Lake Camping

Last week Ron and I went camping for the week to Ink's Lake State Park.  We meet our wonderful  friends for a couple of days and the Stacer’s joined up for a few as well.

We hiked, biked, fished, visited, played and simple enjoyed the blessings of life.

First afternoon chatting with the friends and the first sunset of the evening.   The next day Alan, Ron, Ashley and Aaron set up the tent for the boys.

Adam and I played.
