RAIN AMEN

As silly as it sounds I woke up to THUNDER – YES THUNDER and lighting at 1 a.m. this morning.  Living in what we have been calling the desert of San Antonio, Texas we have only had 1” of rain in nearly a year.  I walked around the house looking out the window and listening – actually hoping for a good downpour.   In waking up this morning we got a bit of rain (neighbor to report from his rain gauge yet) and the patio was actually wet.  How crazy does that sound to all of you Iowans who can’t seem to buy a sun ray????    So laugh as you may at my photos of a wet deck –    For the first time in weeks the temperature is reading 69 instead of its normal 90 at this time of day.  Celebrate and Praise God for RAIN

The rains/sprinkles have stopped      so happy for what we were able to receive.
