Sunday afternoon Ron and I decided to take an 80 mile ride in the hill country – from my favorite
quilt shop in Kerrville Creations to one of his favorite fishing spots James Kiehl Park. New bridges
are being built there so we had to hike in a bit to stroll around.
The winter always brings about new vision to the landscape - with the trees
naked you can see so much further around each bend. This is the Guadalupe
River known for great kayaking, fishing and tubing.
the below picture is in July when our drought was so bad – Ron could walk
right down the middle of the river – but the trees were lush and green
