We had two fun outings today. Ron and I went to Boerne riding our bikes for hours in the later afternoon and evening. The city has been so busy building bike trails …. we did 14 miles and could of gone much longer…..they take you by the city center, river road, fair grounds, out past town towards the civic center, post office and back down main. We stopped mid way at Soda Pops Patio Grill & Bar. We highly recommend the grilled chicken sandwich & sweet potato fries.
Then off we went down river road to the fair grounds. The last few pictures of our ride were at Cibolo Creek Nature Center.
For lunch earlier in the day we meet Jennifer and Barrett downtown at Blue Star Brewing – an experience all of it’s own due to the chef….. fun place
Then we were off on a walking tour of the south side of the river walk. Amazing bridges, buildings and homes that run along the King William district. Thank heavens for all the amazing Cypress trees
to shade us from a toasty afternoon. Amazing day and thanking Jesus for it…. enjoy our photos We will go back real soon with our bikes!!!
