What an amazing walk – miles of trees, wild blackberries, canal boats, cows and great company in
route to The Trout Inn . We first run across fields of wild horses
Notice Matt veering off to pick wild blackberries
We were there hours sipping, talking, main meals, desserts – a feast to be had.
We were debating to walk home or ride the bus back into town – walking
it was – we ate way to much.
Then on to tour Oxford – walking by the amazing buildings, seeing the double decker buses, famous red phone booths and
the work of both Fi and Matt (Oxford University Press) This town is amazing with the history, all the colleges, the architecture.
I will be throwing in lots of plants & flowers since one – I love them and two we are seeing so little life in Texas right now.
On to tour the college Fi went to – after touring the gardens we went into the dinning room and church.
Now in route back to their flat - trying to capture some of the streets, doors, etc.
Sunday we woke up being a bit lazy relaxing and enjoying classical music & tea. Matt decided we needed to
have a hearty breakfast of Huevos Rancheros. Me not being an egg person I decided to give it a go -
and much to my surprise it was amazing. Proof of before and after. Shame on me for waiting so long -
